Life is a choice
our lives might be regarded as a highway. There are many variations of the highway; smooth and rocky roads, up and down, and winding. In our life there are many roads that we will meet when we go through this life. There is a path that will lead us to live as single, married and living on the street. There is also a path that will lead us to success and glory but there is also a path that could plunge us into trouble and poverty. There are many paths that will lead us to happiness, and there are also many roads that lead us to sorrow.  Like the highway, there are many road variations in our lives. There are many turns that will make us change direction, crossroad which make us choose the direction that we will achieve. Crossroads requires us to make choices. Which direction will we take? Do we already have knowledge about the way we are going to take? Or do we just stand still.
We will not know where the road will take us. We can find out if only we have come to the destination. There is no guarantee that the path we take will be in accordance with our expectations. That is why we must understand about life. No one can give guarantee if we always doing well or choose a good path then we will obtain happiness or triumph. When we love someone with all our heart there is no guarantee that others will reciprocate our love. If someone get success does not mean that person is happy. We can only make plans, but the final decision in the hands of god. We only have the ability to make decisions and how we react to our result.
If you realize that you have taken the wrong road or the wrong decision, what would you do? If you are aware from the beginning if you’ve made the wrong decision early on, will you keep running on that road? Probably not, why would you take the wrong path if you know that the way it would be misleading you.
Our path of life that we take is never to give assurance that we are on the right track until we reach the end of our journey. Therefore, if you see a winding road or crossroad you have to make a choice. But still, always be careful in making decisions that you will take. There are a few tips that can help you in making decisions in your life:
1. finding lots of information
you will find it hard to take a decision if you do not have much knowledge about what is and will be. Ask the 5 W’s: What, When, Where, Why, and Who. What is going on? When did this happen? Where is this situation leading to? Why is this happen? And who are involved in this situation? These are some questions you can digg to know better the situation you face.
2. Identify and make decisions
what options are emerging from the situation that you face? Sometimes only a few but sometimes we can come up with a lot of choices. What if you cannot bring up the option? It is time for you to create your own creative ideas. Sometimes the craziest ideas can even be the best choice for you.
3. Consider the advantages and disadvantages.
Learn more in the options that appear and make a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each option. You will understand the problem better and you will take the best decision.
4. Believe in yourself and immediately decision
If you’ve decide which option would you take, believing in yourself in taking decisions.  If you’ve made the decision, prepare yourself to accept the consequences, good or bad. If you make good decision, you will go to glory. But if your decision turns out wrong, make your mistakes as lessons in making decisions in the future.
